Kenya Car Duty FAQs

  1. KRA will provide the current Retail Selling Price (CRSP) of your vehicle,
  2. Import Duty is 25% of the CRSP,
  3. Excise Duty is 20% of the CRSP + Import Duty,
  4. 16% of the CRSP + Import Duty + Excise Duty is VAT,
  5. 2.25% of the CRSP is the IDF Fee.
